She has worked in all aspects of non-profit development, from project managing fundraising events to leading campaigns aimed at annual giving, major gifts and capital improvements. Dina has also successfully obtained grant funding from governmental agencies to corporate and private foundations. While with the AVON Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk Series, she led a Corporate Sponsorship team that generated nearly $10 million in funding nationwide in less than one year.
She has also supervised marketing and awareness campaigns ranging from direct mail and mass market events to social media and donor engagement. In her last position, she generated more than half of the agency’s overall budget while redesigning the organization’s major donor program, implementing an online giving campaign, soliciting new corporate funders, and managing 3 large scale events.
Throughout her 25-year career, Dina is most proud of the continuing relationships she has fostered throughout the non-profit community, calling on past donors for current projects and they have willingly supported her efforts.
Dina proudly serves as a Public Affairs officer in the Army National Guard. She holds a BA in English, an MFA in Elizabethan Literature and recently completed her MPP from UCLA.
